Dr. Kristin Goradietsky works from a psychodynamic and depth-oriented perspective. Her focus is on the therapeutic relationship. She strives to provide support, empathy, validation, and emotional attunement. She tailors her treatment approach to meet each person’s unique needs, history, and background. She specializes in working with issues related to trauma, addiction, anxiety, and women’s issues. She hopes that treatment will help you gain improved self-understanding and improved relationships with yourself and others. The goal is long-term improvement and not solely symptom reduction.

She offers individual therapy and couples therapy to adults. When working with individuals she helps them become more aware of the origins of their pain and suffering so that the pain can be processed and a path toward healing can be forged. She helps individuals explore their unconscious feelings, motives and patterns that continue to influence individuals in the present. When working with couples she helps couples build stronger bonds by helping them notice and attend to each other’s emotions. She focuses on helping couples communicate with each other in healthy ways. She helps each member of the couple feel seen, heard, and validated.
