Samantha Spielfogel

Dr. Samantha Spielfogel believes that clients are the experts of their lives, and hopes to provide insight and support in their mental health journey. She approaches each client with curiosity, warmth, while also considering various factors of a client’s life, such as family roles and dynamics. With these perspectives, she addresses symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, and family dynamics.

Samantha has an affirming and person-centered style that allows her to meet clients where they are. She enjoys bringing in their interests and current strengths, allowing clients to individualize and be an active participant in their treatment. She has a passion for working with the neurodivergent community, seeing things from their perspective, and supporting them in overcoming obstacles in their lives.

Samantha offers individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. With adults and adolescents, Samantha provides a traditional talk therapy environment that provides a warm, judgment-free space to discuss the client’s concerns and areas of growth. With children, she uses guided play such as art and games alongside traditional talk therapy as appropriate. She encourages parents to take an active role in their child’s treatment with monthly sessions that include both psychoeducation and specific support for the parent-child relationship. She also offers family sessions that focus on improving family communication and connection.

Seeking therapy for yourself or your child can be an overwhelming experience. Samantha aims to provide a space where you can be acknowledged and empowered, while striving to make changes and grow. She is passionate about creating a safe space to explore and cope with feelings.
